There is a start up in London with a product called SpatialOS, that uses new tech to host extremely large virtual world's. One world created with the SpatialOS is 10,000 sq miles.
I know Neojac has a hosting solution, but it would be great if we could purchase a clean version to install our own hosting such as SpatialOS
