DistantTemples Posted December 22, 2017 Report Posted December 22, 2017 I had been running the older Atavism server on Ubuntu 12.04 and Zpanel. I am looking at installing a newer version of Ubuntu and maybe a different system to run my database on other than Zpanel. I was wondering what other systems maybe be worth checking out. Any thoughts as to what may work better or what to avoid?
Martin (Dragonsan) Posted December 22, 2017 Report Posted December 22, 2017 We tested few Linux distributions like Ubuntu, Debian, Centos all went fine on them. There are some differences of course, so You can choose what suits You best. Personally we are using more Centos but because many Atavism developer using Ubuntu then we also prepared some virtual machines based on Ubuntu new and old version to test it out.

Could you clarify?
Martin (Dragonsan) Posted December 23, 2017 Report Posted December 23, 2017 We should be able to give You virtual images of Ubuntu, Centos with Atavism in place, but in next release.
