Liquid Shock Games Posted November 12, 2019 Report Posted November 12, 2019 You have said you will be porting Atavism to UE4 and it should be ready in about 9 months which would put the approximate release date to be in June of 2020. Am I safe to assume the server will still be written in Java and that any setup done to the server in Unity ( ie database population, item creation, skills, vendor setup, etc) would carry over to the UE4 version since Unity/UE4 is the client, or will there be other changes made that would cause this not to be the case? I only ask because I have been tasked with speaking engagements at a few locations in 2020 and wanted to know the feasibility of having something to demonstrate in UE4 using Atavism for the talks. Martin (Dragonsan) Posted November 12, 2019 Report Posted November 12, 2019 The server will be mostly the same, but at this point, I cannot guarantee that it will have exactly the same structure, as some of the elements may be engine dependent. Quote
